-Philip Sassano, The Design Coach
Love life backyard – Los Angles, CA
Making functional and beautiful face coverings/masks, that are fully reversible, washable, including a pocket to add a filter and have an adjustable wired nose bridge. As a former fashion designer, it was impossible not to design a better face mask in these crazy times. They are made with beautiful cottons, and have 3 layer construction. Oh, and they come in 4 sizes because one size does not fit all! Function meets form- useful things should still be beautiful! And where are they made? In Los Angeles!
– Felice Pappas
Coach’s Comments: Um, yeah Felice. I’m going need a few of these amazing masks for my team!! Such great work and inspired design!

Jones of Boerum – Brooklyn, NYC
Jones of Boerum Hill began in 2012, in Brooklyn NY by partners Iestyn and Deirdra Jones. Deirdra spent a decade doing design and production for some of the biggest fashion houses in NYC. Iestyn comes from 15 years experience in sales in the UK. They spent a year doing research and development, and were approached by a friend to collaborate on uniforms for downtown Manhattan restaurant Bubby’s. Once they saw the end product, and realized how much they loved designing workwear, the company was born.
Coach’s Comments: When I went searching for the ultimate work wear for my studio, the level of authenticity in the descriptions of their products had me sold. Upon the arrival of my new shop aprons, the quality, style and timeless look blew me away. Gotta love it when the maker and the marketing are all in sync. Simply, one of the best at what they do.
